This year has been an interesting year because of the COVID-19 disease. It’s strange to think that, only a few months ago the world was ‘normal’.

When the whole country went on lockdown, it was difficult for me to adjust as I went from being a full-time student who was working part-time as well, to having at least 7 weeks of free time. I soon realized that the time away from my busy life was necessary for me to slow down and appreciate all the people I have around me and how blessed I am. I was supposed to graduate in April but that was not possible. Graduation was the biggest thing I looked forward to this year. I hope that I will have some kind of graduation.

Although it has been a difficult time in the world, I believe that the changes that this disease has bought could potentially benefit us in the long run. Society will never go back to what it was before the coronavirus. I look forward to the new opportunities that will arise.
