Laila Zouheir

Laila is the Advocacy and Communications intern at the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, where she assists in the outputs for social media, coordinate events, and promote community involvement. She is driven by a commitment to advocacy, social justice, and sustainability. Laila leverages her teaching experience to enhance her communication skills and promote cultural exchange. She strives to create safe spaces for dialogue and positive change, particularly in environmental justice. In her spare time, she enjoys origami, staying informed on current events, and learning to code, all while focusing on personal development and making a meaningful impact in South Africa.
