Zandile Gobe

Zandile Gobe is an Actuary at General Re Corporation (Gen Re), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. She previously worked for MMI Group Ltd in the Investments division where she headed up the Product Management teams (Structured Solutions, and later, Income Solutions). She started her working career at Metropolitan in 2006 as an Actuarial Specialist.

Zandile is a member of the Actuarial Women’s Committee, a body advocating for transformation and gender equity in her industry. During her student days, she managed the Ubumbo Rugby team, which was the first black rugby team in the UCT Internal league. Zandile holds an Honours degree in Business Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town.
