It was all glitz and glam in the Home of the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation (Old Granary Building) on the 7th of December – We hosted our 5th successful Youth@Work graduation.
The day started with everyone sending a very heartwarming message to the Founders Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mrs. Tutu. The venue was filled participants, parents, mentors, partners and all service providers that have contributed invaluably to the growth and learning of the 2019 Youth@Work cohort.
Former graduates of Youth@Work joined us and shared their inspirational stories of how they used what they gained from the programme to set a path for themselves both academically and professionally.
We would like to thank all the mentors, facilitators, service providers, partners, the founders, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mrs Leah Tutu and a special thank you to our funder H&M South Africa, thank you for the role you have played in the development of the 2019 Youth@Work cohort.
We would also like to thank the Director of Programmes, Razaan Bailey and the Programmes Coordinator, Solomzi Nyezi for their contribution in the Youth@Work
